The Package includes construction, reconstruction or renovation of 94 Community toilet-bathing Units at 94 sites in 09 different LICs (Low Income Communities) of Dhaka city under DESWS Project. This Package comprises 75 Units of new construction or reconstruction and 19 Units of renovation works. The newly constructed Units have a total 240 chambers including 154 toilet chambers and 84 bathing chambers. The LICs under this Package exist within MODE Zone 4 and 10 of Dhaka WASA. The design of each community toilet-bathing WASH block comprises septic tank, soak-well, superstructure, ram /stair (as applicable), electrification, running water system, etc. The selected construction sites are situated within the LICs where transport can enter seldom from adjacent roads; therefore, construction materials need to be carried manually to the sites in most cases.
